Problem: Study a famous art movement in history along with an artist. Replicate the art style into a design for any band of desired choice. The graphics must attempt to translate the chosen artist's style and art movement.

Study and solution: I chose to study the optical art movement along with the Italian artist Marina Apollonio. The band I chose to design the cover for was Radiohead, as they are my favorite band. I quickly found how Marina's work revolves around spiral motions and round spherical shapes as opposed to straight lines and cubes compared to other optical art. I felt that the spiral movement and indents complimented the album A Moon Shaped Pool, as most songs are rather melancholic and give the feeling of downward spiraling emotions. These elements are highlighted in the final design. The result is an output of the front cover, the back cover, and the vvinyl/CD artwork.
